Dinner Banquet, Friday, Jan. 7

This is one banquet you should plan to attend! It’ll be in the elegant Regency Ball Room for a seating capacity of 300. A lot of attention and time has been spent on this to be a fantastic event to match this outstanding, grand show. We are even taking a loss on the cost to help keep the price down at a rate of $35.00 a ticket, and here’s what we have in store:

Entries, Banquet and Saturday Overnight News (12-21-10)
Total entries as of this date is 6,404. Way to go U.S. and Canadian exhibitors for making one of the biggest shows in recent history! We’re looking forward to seeing all of you and all our International pigeon fanciers in Europe, Australia and elsewhere!

If you haven’t purchased banquet tickets, you can still by submitting an entry form but just complete the bottom portion for tickets and send a check to our Vista mailbox ($35 per person). You can also buy tickets at the show—only on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at the check-in table. We may hold a few extras on Thursday while supplies last. Go to the Banquet page to read more—fantastic event.

For exhibitors staying the night at the Town & Country Saturday, Jan. 8, we can hold your birds in your personal carrier(s) in a meeting room on location. You must pick them up by the requested time and location the following Sunday morning. Watch for more direction at the show.

Grand National Champion Breed Prizes
Last year, Salt Lake City debuted judging an overall champion/reserve champion and other breed recognition and providing cash prizes. It was popular and this year we’re not only providing it, we’re exceeding it from last year! We have great sponsors for it. Another great reason to enter birds. Here’s the details:

Champion of Show: $500 cash (sponsored by Jedd’s Feed)
Res. Champion of Show: $350 cash (sponsored by Heppner Lofts)
Group Champions: $250 per champion of seven categories of breeds (grouped)

Sponsors of the group awards include Clarence Legg, John De Carlo Jr., Sherry Beadle Owen, Art Pamplona, Jerry and Sharon Holmberg, Art by Diane Jacky and one anonymous donor.
